We support animal sanctuaries in their efforts to provide safe, healthy, and enjoyable homes to animals rescued from abuse and suffering.
What is an animal sanctuary?
An animal sanctuary is a facility where animals are brought to live and be protected for the rest of their lives. Unlike animal shelters, sanctuaries do not seek to place animals with individuals or groups, instead, they maintain each animal until his or her natural death.
Animal sanctuaries can house a variety of animals. There are sanctuaries for companion animals, wild animals, exotic animals and farmed animals.
Farm sanctuaries typically house animals who were originally raised for food, including eggs, meat and milk. Sanctuaries also house animals used for their fur, wool, feathers or skin. These animals include cows, pigs, chickens, goats, turkeys, sheep, mink and rabbits. You might find other animals within farm sanctuaries including horses, donkeys, ducks and llamas.

We support small animal sanctuaries with:
1. Financial support: Animal shelters require funding for various purposes such as space, buildings, food, medicines, veterinarian care, transportation, and administrative costs. Limited funding is a major challenge for most shelters, with many on the verge of bankruptcy. Our organization provides grants to small shelters, allowing them to focus on animal care instead of struggling with unsustainable fundraising efforts.
2. Capacity building: We provide animal shelters with technical support on governance, strategic planning, organizational culture, financial health, standard of care and animal welfare, and emergency preparedness and response.
The work of animal sanctuaries is solely supported by individuals with true love for the most vulnerable animals. Let’s help them with their selfless and devoted mission.
